Notices from February 3rd 2026

Please note the following information:

The committee have decided to fund a coach, to make it easier for members, to join Highcliffe Choir at their Christmas concert on the afternoon of Saturday 5th December.  The repertoire will be the same as for Cantorum's concert on Saturday 12th December.  Please, if you have not already done so, sign up for this event at next week's rehearsal.  We do not want to fund a half empty coach.

The snow tree has been taken down from the website, paper copies are available from Meg.

You Tube Music For Summer 2026 Concerts

Description

Hi All.  As some do find this helpful, I have found the closest tracks to our own music for the purpose of practice, more so to help with timings and "feel" of the music, Yes, I know that  it may not help the Altos so much!  However, as we get further into such things as syncopation and rhythm, this may assist. Please do continue to practice with Andrew's tracks on this site, but use these as an extra aid!

Apologies

In my enthusiasm for our new website and it's role in generating publicity for the choir, I didn't thank Val for the great job she does, promoting Cantorum. I do apologise Val. We are lucky to have you as a member of the committee, with responsibility for publicity. I am pleased you have agreed to continue in this role going forward. Thankyou.
